Insurance, Rates, & Reduced Fees

Currently, Awaken Psychology is an In-Network Provider for:

Awaken Psychology can work with other insurance companies as an out-of-network provider. If you would like to use your out-of-network benefits, an invoice will be provided to you. You can submit this invoice to your insurance provider.

Awaken Psychology also accepts some sliding scale patients. For rates and insurance questions please call. Payment is expected at the conclusion of each session. Cash, check, and credit cards are accepted.

Cancellation Policy

Appointment times at Awaken Psychology are dedicated exclusively to one patient or family. We require 24 hours’ notice of cancellation to avoid being charged the full session fee.

Emergencies

In case of emergency, call 9-1-1 or go to your nearest emergency room. For non-emergent calls you may call the clinic and leave a message. Your phone call will be returned as soon as is feasible.

Confidentiality

The law protects the relationship between a client and a psychotherapist, and information cannot be disclosed without written permission.

Exceptions include:

~  Suspected abuse or neglect of a child, dependent adult, or elder person

~ If a patient is threatening serious bodily harm to another person or persons

~ If a patient intends to harm himself or herself, I will make every effort to enlist their cooperation in ensuring their safety. If they do not cooperate, I will take further measures without their permission that are provided to me by law in order to ensure their safety.

Consultations

Dr. Mulloy strongly believes in collaborative care and integrated medicine. With your written permission, she will gladly communicate with your primary care provider to ensure you wholesome and quality care.

Dr. Mulloy frequently communicates with principals and teachers. She is willing to work with your child’s school to set him or her up for success.
